I have one. 143 tooth for an 11" disk and the larger bell housing. Not sure I want to separate it from the rest of the 4 speed swap though.

You can technically take that flywheel and drill the proper holes to make it a cast crank flywheel. Here's a pic to help you out.

Summit sells a McLeod that comes with weight for external motor for 300 bucks. I use it on my engine run stand for either motors

Look at 440 Source. Their flywheel will work with either cast or forged crank. just bolt on or take off the wieght that comes with it. New starter ring on it. Probably made off shore, but I was impressed with mine...cost much less than others...........................MO

Quick Time sells a balance plate that bolts between the back of the crank and the neutral balance flywheel...part number RM531...I have used them several times...worked OK.

BE VERY CAREFUL HERE..... as you know, the flywheel & pressure plate are part of your engine's balance (possibly) and a mistake could ruin your engine.

Is your engine balanced? Is it just the "stock/OEM balance"? If your engine was balanced at a machine shop, did they include your 383 flywheel in the balance job? What about your pressure plate?
