The decals on the tail are more commonly seen on the '71 IME. I've never heard definitively on that detail. But I love the '70 & '71 most of all the Duster years...

I'm not really a fan of yellow cars, but that is a neat little example for the money.

Besides....I don't fit in those A-Body cars.....feel too cramped up.

Back around 2008, I started building and selling some cars. For me, it wasn't so much about making money...it was about the fun of the build.

I had a stash of parts from junked cars so I was able to get a few cars put together for far less than you'd think.
I did all mechanical stuff, body and paint, upholstery and got the cars operational. None were correct "restorations" but they all were light years above "Roadkill" standards. Those three were listed on ebay and sold for around $6000 each.
In 2011 I sold the FrankenDuster:

That car went to South Dakota and sold for $8500. I was surprised to get that much for it. Since then I've done a couple more...

The black Dart Sport went for $9500 in 2017.
I'm surprised at the prices that some stuff gets listed at. I'm even more surprised when they sell at those inflated prices. I liked using ebay because it broadened the range of people that might be interested and usually that meant a higher sale price.
The price for the yellow Duster in this thread seems to be inflated but I don't know anymore. Maybe it will sell for that price.
I have a 72 Duster that I'll be selling some time next year....

I really don't know what it will be worth either since it was originally a slanty with a 3 speed on the tree but is now a 360-904-8 3/4" with fresh paint, suspension and new interior. Resto-mods can sell for more than correct restorations but my projects are not national show winning level cars.

Man, can I appreciate what you did with all them A-Bodies, KD.
Good stuff:thumbsup:

For posterity to capture the asking price and the humor above regarding the posi.
