It appears you should be able to tear it apart with your hands!! Just read third page about title.. Around here you can’t get rid of ANYTHING unless there is a title..

Around here getting a title isn't to difficult & if all your doing is scrapping it you can cut it into four sections & haul it over the scales with no title...

Here they will throw you off the scales and tell you never to come back.. One yard wanted a title for a friend of mines old inner fenders, floor pans and fenders from a car he was restoring… They made him leave and he took it to another yard with out an issue..

Cars like this don't tempt me to save them like I'd feel with a unwrecked and unrusted body. Some guys shy away from cars with no title but that doesn't sway me. It is actually MUCH easier to get a title in California than many other states.
A badly wrecked or rusted car makes the decision easy.
I love my shiny car but nothing beats getting dirty and greasy with an old junker. I just love it.
I usually like going through the cars looking for hidden treasures and forgotten tools.

I had to empty out what was left in the trunk so it didn't fall out onto the trailer and into someone's grille during the ride home.
Despite the appearance, there are still plenty of good OEM only parts to save. I have THIS car that I'm going to sell and it is lacking a few things:

Looks like it served several years as an ashtray. Biggest ashtray I ever saw. KD do you smoke?
 
I don’t smoke and rarely drink.
The wife and I started watching Mad Men. All those people smoking and drinking all the time is funny.

A guy is coming on Saturday to get the engine and trans. Swap meet value isn’t much, scrap is even less.

Sawdust to soak up ATF and anti freeze. Yeah… the engine had oil and anti freeze still in it. The ATF is clean too.

I wouldn't have bought the car if it was 4 wheel drums. The body and chassis was too rusty to make any money on frame rails, doors and fenders.
The brake parts are in decent shape, just dirty. They will be cleaned and posted for sale in a few weeks.

Just for curiosity, how much did you get at the scrap metal yard & what do you estimate you'll make in salvageable parts?
 
After seeing this, I am apologizing to my GTX for referring to it as a rust bucket during its life in the early 70s when it was daily driven in Pennsylvania. Compared to this California beauty, it was a show room pristine. What a difference 50 years makes. My idea of a rust bucket back then was holes in the lower quarter panels, and lower front fenders. Luckily for me, Julie Clark (original owner) felt the same, and replaced them with NOS after the car was taken off the road.
