I love watching all the "B" quality moonshine runner movies.

I used to use throttle to induce a slide at low speeds but once I read about how them Duke boys had a parking brake with the locking mechanism defeated, I drilled a hole in the release lever rod and slid a drywall nail in it for this car:

I used to 'drift' my Road Runner like that before drifting was a thing.

Going home after work, I would take the corner of my street sideways in second gear and smoke it a decent stretch. In the wet was fun also.

I've always said about guys who skid on grass is that if that's all you got.....it's not worth the effort. Smoking the tires at speed on the road is showing a bit more skill.
I just got back a while ago from my local friendly neighbourhood butcher shop....so I thought I would take that corner that I loved so much about 35 years ago.....

...this time in my work van, so no heroics today.

Here is the playlist I have on YouTube of cars movies if anyone is interested. I haven't watched them all yet. I think its on the up and up since they have been available on YT for awhile, if I'm breaking a rule let me know and I'll edit the link out.
