Forged crank?

While this is true for the balancer, you are relying on the fact that the last assembler installed the correct balancer though.
That's the point, right there. Thanks.

I was just looking at my connecting rods, it seems there is a couple that are way out of size. I don't like the thought of these ever going back in the engine... 440 source has some new ones for a decent price i think, I could just replace a couple of these or I could but a new set, any recommendations? Same numbers but this I am pretty sure would throw things off...

Are there any actual measurements to back up all these "way out of size" and "does this crank look ok" comments?

Crank is fine, all at stock specs. Each rod weighed between 814-817 grams, my only gripe is the shop I had it at took the engine apart and never marked the rods. That kinda pisses me off but I will be taking it to another shop to assemble it and balance it properly. I would like to do it myself, problem is I want it run in out of the car and I need to leave this to a more qualified individual...

The rods will have numbers on the bearing tang side to match cap to rod. If there are no numbers, just gather 4 rods per side and put the rods with the tangs out. Passenger side will be 2/4/6/8 with the tangs out to the pass side, and driver side is 1/3/5/7 with the tangs out to the driver side.

FWIW a lot of the pistons available (depending on what compression ratio you're trying to come up with) are based on big block Chevy blanks and use a smaller than stock Mopar wrist pin diameter ...so you might wind up having to scrap the rods anyway...

Speed pro 2315 nf pistons, 1.094 diameter. Should be the same by all rights.
