Found This Superbird 5/03/11

My name is Tim I joined this forum tonight to show you all this Superbird I tried to purchase over fifteen years ago.Just for the hell of it I stopped by the house yesterday and the car was still there.The car is original from the box tips to the pistol grip except for rims and tires.I,m headed there this Saturday with cash and a spare kidney if he needs one.Back in 1984 I offered a guy $2000.00 for another superbird in Piscataway NJ which he accepted but I could not return with the cash and my wife's neighbor was lucky enough to get the car ,maybe I'll get a second chance.If he won't take my offer I'll give up the address..

Tim, nice find! I hope you get it so she isn't sitting out side. However, if he doesn't accept your offer and it isn't for sale do the right thing and don't post his address. I know if I had a car near and dear to my heart but couldn't afford to restore it I wouldn't want my address out there floating around.

You're right I would not post his address but if he gives me a price I can't afford I would give the address to somone who could afford to keep the car from rusting back into the ground

WOW, Nice it's always bittersweet to see a old Mopar in that condition especially a super rare Superbird, on one hand it's good to see there are still some out there! but on the other most will just rust into the ground, I would literally give my left nut for that car (probably both im done havin' kids!) Welcome to the site. good luck with the deal there and I agree, don't post the guys address, from the looks of the outdoor collection, I wouldn't be suprised if he had at least a small collection of shotguns inside the house.
