centerline, what is your under coating type. thank youMade my own using 2"x 3" .120 wall rectangular tubing which I welded in place. Total cost was under $20. Unbelievable difference in chassis stiffness.

Those fit better than my US CarTools. Very nice work.
Thanks. I took cardboard and traced the floor outline, then used the cardboard as a template to cut the steel. There are sections taller than the 3x3. Those were made by butt welding above the boxed 3x3 with flat steel. I like how some guys slit through the floor but for me, I cut the 3x3 down to fit to the floor and then rewelded the tops with metal to close it up and retain strength. This was before I got the 2 post lift. It sure would have been easier to do today! Those fit better than my US CarTools. Very nice work.
Complete car. Doors closed. No interior intrusions. Carpet left in and no fire. This is for everyone who added connectors. When the connectors were added, was the car stripped, or complete? If stripped was it braced on the inside? My car at this point is stripped. Before I put it on a rotisserie, should I reinstall doors, fenders, etc and cross brace the interior before I add connectors? Any addition information would be appreciated. Thanks
No, I built the cage after the subframe connectors were installed.Doug
Did you brace car on the inside?
