Have a 69 Charger. What years body floor pans and rails can I use from doner cars to use on the 69? All B body cars from 68-70? Any dodge/Plymouth? Any Chryslers? Station Wagons?

Thnks,

Wizard

All b-body floor pans are the same from 66 to 70 This being from a 66 belvedere to a 70 charger.. The pan is the same. However frame rails may differ. I do believe the forward floor pan "in front of the rear foot area" are the same. rearward back they may differ for the wagon.

Lots of good knowledge here.

66/67 is quite a bit different in the seat track area.

So is 70, as it is close to a 71-14 or E body seat track style

I have a few 66-67 charger cars to use. Would these be compatible to cut up and use the floor pans. Only issue may be is front seat track area?

I just did a rail replace on my 69 Satellite last weekend, used 66 coronet rails. The rails themselves are basically the same, but the 66 rails do have a few extra holes in them for both the gas tank straps and the fuel filler vent pipe

Thnks for info on rails

Also regarding rear frame rails. The rails are interchangeable like previously stated. But if you find a donor set that have the rear spring perches still attached be aware that there is a 1" difference in spring location between Dodge and Plymouth.

Okay, so if I stick with a dodge to use as a donor, I will not have to worry about the 1" difference I take it?

Correct. Or you could use your existing perches if they are in decent condition.

As long as you use your bolt on spring perches, you can use rails from a dodge or Plymouth.

The rear perches are spot welded to the frame rails.

I know this is a few months old but if the rear frame rails are interchangeable from any 66-70 b body for the most part, what bout the rear crossmember from other b body to 68-70 charger? And trunk floor? I know the drops are different though
