This got my heart pumping this morning! And of course I can't get ahold of anybody. Posted in the free section.

I told my friends son I would give him a free 71 Charger at Carlisle,he hasn't come and got it yet!

I sent him a message after reading this thread and he said that he will pick it up in a couple of weeks. His plan is to do a Roadkill style thrash on the car and drive it to Carlisle next year.

Never got to find out! He finally replied that it is gone. Rats.

No interior
bent up door
bet up fender
bent up hood.

That's what we can see in that single pic.

Looking at the door to fender gap, the angle of the roof in relation to the front end (hood and fender) ......looks to me like some damaged front chassis rails.

A jump car that was used and parted out is my guess.

That free Charger is like a free horse. A very expensive ride.

I've seen your videos. YOU know how to do it right. Why can't more people be like us, the smart ones?

I'm always telling people to rotate the damn phone when filming.

Millenials..... sheesh....

Seeing people at car shows whip out a phone to vertically record a car moving along past them just grates my nerves. You're going to get just the door, just the fender or just the quarter panel....OR wave the phone around to get it all a moment at a time while making the viewer squeamish watching it.
I'm seeing it from what I would think are reasonably smart people and it disappoints me. It erodes my faith in human intelligence. The people doing it wrong are so close to doing it right but don't think enough to follow through.
I wonder about those people. Do they pull their food out of the oven after is is 2/3 cooked? Do they do a 66% complete job at work instead of 100%? Are they satisfied with mediocrity?

Looks like the door hit the fender the last time it was opened and they just kept pushing.

Haha! this is getting pretty funny. You guys are all looking at body work, all I see is a free 8 3/4 probably with big brakes, and a mopar parts car to rob small parts, bolts, fasteners etc off of. Was not thinking "restore" it has no tittles for starters!
It was just a few miles south of me. But my big dreams were swept away by the guy that got there first.

I am giving away the 71 Charger that I have had in the yard for a year. It has a running 318 engine and transmission that I had from another car in it right now. It has an 8 3/4 rear axle too. I cut up two of them in the last year, and after looking under this one I think it is buildable for a young guy with ambition and not much of a budget, so I would rather see someone make a driver out of the car then cut up another one.

Does your friends son not want it now? I would be happy to take it, if not for the 80 hour round trip!
