Hello,
Tore apart and cleaned up, and replaced all bushings, ball joints ect in my 66 charger front end.
Now to put it all back together, has anyone found a particular order for reinstalling that is easier or better than the FSM ?
Just curious, sometimes the workers in the field know better than the engineers behind the desk.
Thanks in advance

Not even sure what the FSM says but I like to hang my upper control arms first. Some like to attach the spindles to the CR's first but I don't. Maybe I'm weak :D but I do like to attach my brake backing plates to the spindle before attaching the spindles to the LCR's. Just makes it easier to get to the fasteners. However you do it, do not tighten any bushing bolts until you get the car sitting at ride height.

I always install the lower control arms/struts/torsion bars first, that way there's nothing else in your way. Then UCA's, then spindles.

LCA first with strut rod attached and washers/bushings, torsion bars second, UCA, spindles with backing plate and lower ball joint assembled as one unit, idler arm, center link, tie rods with sleeves, last is sway bar if you have one......

Follow the service manual as well relating to torque specs...

Yup, LCR goes on with the strut rod.....and imo, it helps if the rod isn't tight on the LCR.
