Hey guys, I'm in the process of stripping my 68 for a restore of sorts. What are some front end options for this? Anyway to get tide of torsion bars and do something different? Not much will be factory on this car so I'm open to suggestions. Obviously I would like to get front disc brakes as well. Just trying to get a plan together and roll with it. Thanks ahead of time!

magnumforce
alterkation
hemi denny
Hotchkis
build our own
etc.

Alteration all the way. Fitment was perfect. With Wildwood's on all four corners. It is awesome.

QA1 also. And it all depends on how you want the car to drive, also do you want to use factory style parts or go totally aftermarket.....What's in Your Wallet??

dont go heims unless you want to repair chassis cracks

I would have to think a properly welded and designed 4 link with heim joints would be fine. I have built them for off road trucks and never had issues cracking. Too bad nobody has a used front end for sale!

If you use a tube K-frame get one with the shock towers. Factory shock towers were not designed to carry the weight of the car and will crack. Seen it many times.
