Front Sway Bar Mounting Through K-Member

Don’t weld those brackets on the control arms yet if that is the bar you bought.

Ok I won’t. Is there a locating issue? The bar is supposed to be stock mounting. I spoke with them about that actually.

Can you please elaborate? I need to complete my welding before I install the bushings.

As dadsbee said the bar pictured is a 68-69 bar in the factory location. You have a 70, the brackets are different. Do you have factory disc brakes? If so the early bar will interfere with them as they are forward mounted in 70. Just wait till you get the bar and verify what it is.

Hold on that may be a bbody and a PST swaybar BUT ITS NOT GOING THROUGH THE Kmember. Must be the aftermarket type?
Moparfiend, have to look closer at all the pics in the 2 threads.

I ordered this one. I do have front disc brakes which I also mentioned to their tech. Said it is good. Is this not correct?

Ok, that’s the correct bar, not the one you pictured above.

Carry on.

I have a new Mopar Performance 1" bar kit that goes through the k member. Aftermarket gold anodized.

If you're having issues feeding the bar through the K, it may be due to one are of the K being bent up. Road hazards, jacks etc. Look at the picture above. Thats the area. Its also the, for me and others, area you put the floor jack under to lift the car.
