front tire size? 1964 440

found a set of six "new" old stock firestone indy 500 (old tread pattern) wide ovals for really inexpensive . 235/60 15" know they will fit out back but will that wide of tire clear on the front? going on a set of 76 dodge cop rims. have upgraded to disc, sway bars, full bushing kit from firm feel, and have the stiffeners to weld on as soon as i figure out mig. with new torsion bars to go in at same time.so hoping the front end is up to a bigger foot print. so long winded to getting to asking if anyone use a 235/60 15 on the front? any issues? and yes i know about buying old stock tires...

I can't imagine any problems using a tire, that size, on the front. I have used 245-60R15 and 255-60R15 on the front with no problems.
