i need some help. i just swaped the back tires on the back. i put 275 60 15 tires on the back just dont know how wide i should go. on the front with out prob or looking funy any help would be appreciated and some pics would help too.

Attached is a picture of my Son's 73 RR. 275/60R15 on the back and 235/60R15 on the front.

I have heard a number of people go with 245/60R15 in the front. It might fill the wheel well a little bit better. I'm thinking about going with 245s the next time I get tires...

Hope this helps...

u have prob w 275 60 15 rubbing on back if i let air out looks like they will

Never any problems rubbing at all; there is plenty of room. The key is to have a rim with proper back spacing: 4 1/2' backspacing on an 8" wide rim and they fit like a charm!

I have 245 on 15x8 Cragar S/S @ 4.25 could be 4.5 fits great & 275 15x8 on the rear same rim all around. I had the slightest rub on a flat to hard uphill turn just rolled the fender a touch.
Had I gone with the 5.5bs on the rear I could have got a 295 under it. never had a front rub anywhere @4.25 and did not roll the fender lip.
74 ssp same body as your RR

I'd go with a 5.5 bs on a 10 rear.
4.25 will rub. There is about 1.5in of fender sticking out to the inside maybe you could roll it, maybe not. every 20mm in tire with will be about 1in wider or skinnier. With a 10 rim I'd hope they split the diff from the mounting surface, so that hopefully would make it 1in outside and 1 in inside. what you will have to watch is your section width, that should be wider than your tread width. All in all I wish I had gone with a 5.5 bs rather than stock 4.5. Cragar said they would make them and the only extra would have been time not money. I found a great discount tire who worked with me and they even matched the best prices I found on line @ Summit. We actually mounted 295s
and had to go 275 They were great guys. Don't know if they are where you live though.

i went with 4.25 bs with 5.75 os and look like they would rub if i let air out of shocks n want to get rid of the dam air shocks on my 73 roadrunner
