Front windshield trim clip location??

Hey guys I put all my trim clips in and have one left but two holes left over on the car. How many trip clips go on the a pillar (sides of the windshield)? On my passenger side I have two holes, one in the lower area and one in the middle. On the driver's side I have three holes top, middle, bottom but the bottom hole looks kind of screwy. Then when I look at the trim it looks like the lower windshield trim will overlap the sides so maybe there shouldn't be a lower trim clip but there should be an upper...So confused please help I have the windshield installer coming to the house tomorrow afternoon.

Just went out to the garage and look at mine. I have 3 on each side. The top clip is about 3-4 inches down. The bottom clip is about 3 inches up and the middle clip is about an inch or two above the halfway mark.

Thanks a bunch, looks like I was shorted some clips when I ordered my clip set. Roadrunnerman if you don't mind could you tell me how many you have running along the roof? Maybe I have to many holes on the roof side and that is why I'm short on the sides.

Eagle-i counted 22 clips on mine.10 across the top,3 on each side and 6 across the bottom. The top ones working in from the corner, the first one is 1" in The 2nd clip is 2 1/2 inches in from the first clip. The 3rd clip is 4 1/2 inches in from the 2nd clip.The 4 clips that are left on top should be spaced about 7 " apart then. The bottom row of clips, mine has 3 in each half.
again working in from the corner the first clip is 8 1/2 inches from corner. the next clip is 6 1/2 inches from the first one and the last clip is 7 1/2 inches from the 2nd clip.This is what i measured working in from the corners. There is a space of about 21 inches between clips on the bottom row. I did not see any evidence of clips in that area. Hope that helps.

Okay yeah it looks like my kit came two short. I only got 14 of the smaller clips for the sides and top, my bottom clips are good to go those ones are easy since there is a concave area where each goes. I think I'm going to take one out of the top on each side were they are closely spaced so I'll have three on each side.

I just checked my other 69 RR and it has 8 clips across the bottom. They are rivited in place where as the ones on my car that i am redoing, the clips are screwed in place.Thought i would give you an update.
