Hey guys.. well the title says it all. Any ideas on what makes them do this? I have had the gauge read 3/4 full when the tank is plumb full on other vehicles, but never the other way around. Oh and also my oil light stays on the whole time the engine is running if that makes any difference.. and it has at least 70 psi on my gauge. All ideas welcome thanks in advance.

You might have to take the sender out of the tank and adjust where it rides by bending the float arm up towards the top of the tank. That would be my first try.

There are some measurements of how many oms it throws when at empty, half and full. You can measure and set it that way too. Somebody here might have that info.

For the oil light, you may have the wrong sender, a faulty sender, or something clogged.
