Fuel gauge to newer sender calibration.

Anyone successfully install a Tanks meter match or similar product to calibrate a current manufacture sending unit to work with an original oem gauge? Will it install easily on a 68 b body with rallye gauges?

Absolutely, simple and easy , get her done ! The key is to set your low calibration, when near empty and vice visa ! Hope this helps!
 
So how would one wire it to the existing gauge and sender? Would I have to cut my dash harness? Or rear harness?
 
You will have to intercept the wire between the sender and the gauge.
 
There recommendation is in the drivers kick panel , harness connector area !
That's what I was thinking too but wasn't 100% sure. Splice into to the rear harness, ground and a 12v source.
