Fuel sender question.

An update on this saga and hopefully the end to this issue:

I found an original sender on e-bay for a whopping price of 40 dollars. I could not believe it and purchased it right away. It did need a new sock filter but everything else was perfect. I checked the ohm reading with my multimeter before installing. Then also checked it connected to the original gauge to make sure before placing into tank. I added fuel on Saturday and the gauge responded very quickly and not fluctuating of the needle as I drove. Absolutely far superior product to what they are selling now.

Anyone know who sells a good sock replacement?

Most of the Mopar vendors probably carry them. Mega Parts or Van's in Wisconsin. Mega has it for sure, $12.00.
