..reason i ask is i talked directly with Roy Johnson on the phone and he is adamant about using a hard line from the pump to the pickup, i haven't,but bearings always look good

No.
New Milodon oil pump on millennium hemi and indy max oil pump on the stage V big valve hemi

Those are nice pumps.
My backup 588 wedge has a Tritan single line oil pump
