FYI Hooker Headers

Just want to warn anyone thinking about ordering Hooker headers, They do NOT automatically come with the flanged collectors. You have to order them separately. Ordered from Summit and was surprised to not get them in the box. Talking to the guy at the local performance shop and he said he never heard of such a thing.

Serious race headers generally don't. It's done that way intentionally so the engine builder/tuner can make the collectors whatever length they want. Really splitting hairs looking for every single performance edge they can find. Definitely not street car stuff.

FYI - Not all Hooker headers are like that, just gotta pay attention when ordering. Can you send them back?

Are you referring to the collectors, or the reducers ? You wouldn't get reducers, because you could be using any size exhuast pipe. You order reducers based on the diameter of the pipe it's going into.
