Garage sale find!

I stopped at a garage sale and on the way out noticed a sheet covering up stuff they didn't want to sell. I commented on it, saying I had a 70 Road Runner at home and anything with the purple bird on it caught my eye. I was in the car ready to leave when the guy tapped on the window and said his wife wanted me to have it - free! She said they only used it to cover stuff up and it looked like I would give it a good home. Proves that there are still nice people out there. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. My wife offered to make curtains for my hobby garage. What do you think?

Pretty cool. Curtains sound cool as long as the sun doesn't ruin them.

Yeah thats a find for sure....I went to a garage sale last summer and the guy had a small tool box with a roadrunner sticker on it...I asked him were,s the car?He said he wrapped it around a tree in 1974...I almost bought the box just for the sticker!!!!How about a flag for the garage?

Good ideas, guys! If they become curtains, she would line them so they wouldn't fade.

Very cool, Why do Roadrunner owners get so crazy with Roadrunner stuff haha, I guess i'm getting started found a roadrunner t shirt i had to have. :D

I remember those sheets . My sister had them when we were kids!! If you get a few more maybe sew em all togethor and make a nice light weight car cover!

What do Mustang owners collect? :D

I was usually able to get mine home under their own power (had 5...3 65's and 2 66's) but man, I got tired of the 'crap' breaking down! Went back to Mopar and never looked back.

Last year I was at a yaerd sale, and found a old Dukes Of Hazzard flat sheet. It was in great shape too!! I had my mother in law make me 2 pillow cases out of it, so, my side of the bed is well Moparized.
