Found this on the local Craigslist and had to have it!
It's not vintage, believe it or not the guy I bought it from actually painted it on these boards that he reclaimed from abandoned structures in Detroit.
I'm working with him now on possibly making a "JUNKYARD DOG" one with the same patina.
It looks every bit as good in person as it does in the pic! This guy is talented.

I still have both doors, one's displayed in my garage and the other in my shop. Even if I thought they were restorable I stil wouldn't have used them, they're way to kool.

Pretty cool Matt! Great art to proudly toss on the wall of any Man Cave. 1st time I've seen the trunk of a Charger used as a planter.. Looks like you have a heck of a green thumb.

Thanks Prop! I'm still moving in and setting the place up and I figured a few plants wouldn't be a bad idea. I just don't know where to put them quite yet.

Cool beans, what did he bang you for that ?

I'll say this, I was going to lowball my offer to him until he told me that he painted it. That being said I asked him to sign it and raised my offer a little closer to his asking price. I gave him $400 and am very pleased with it. He gave me a good deal because of the potential of more work from me.

That's awesome Matt. Junkyard dog would be a good one

Way cool detmatt, brings back a lot of memories. I ran a drag bike up there the last full season.

RC I can send you some old barn siding and you can paint your own :idea1:
