Finally all the parts came in .. new tank ..new lines ..sending unit all the goodies now lets check over weekend how good it will fit comparing to oem

Also as a side note, I'd put anti-seize on every nut or thread that goes in, IMHO. Especially when it comes to the under carriage stuff. It will make dis-assembly that much easier IF you have to replace something.

Need a pad still? I have a new one, BTW

Amazon has the 71 and 72 Spectra tanks Available (Free shipping with Prime), they also carry Fine Lines fuel lines. They didn't have the sending unit though.

I just replaced the fuel lines on my 72SSP. I ordered my lines from The Right Stuff Detailing. Another source is In-line Tube. The Right Stuff Detailing had a special before the holidays, it was 10% off with free shipping. Make sure you check the shipping cost for the fuel lines, it is expensive because the box is large.

I ordered lines from In-Line tube, and they were complete crap. Ended up having a local guy make a set of stainless lines from the originals that were spot on and no issues. In-Line tube would take them back either and they people I talked to on the phone were not very knowledgeable either.

Changing the gas tank on my 71 Charger is my next project so I thank mopar 71satellite for starting this thread and I look forward to seeing your progress. I just got the tank off and determined that I need to replace the tank and sending unit. Both are too rusty. Car was last tabbed in '98 so I am assuming that was when it last ran.

Has anyone used the stainless steel tanks for 2nd gen B Bodies?
