I’m using the pink gasket from Dr.Diff. Good so far,have to see if it’s really re-usable when I replace gears.

That may work, I don't know. At a glance, it reminds me of those plastic automatic transmission pan gaskets...the ones with the rubber ribs in them for sealing. They seemed to work well.
I use this:

This sealant seems to be the best that I have ever used. NO black, ultra gray, blue, orange or red RTV beats it.
I used to use gaskets on the 8 3/4" 3rd member but once I switched to just "The Right Stuff," My leaks have stopped.

I just use a cheap paper with a very thin layer of black rtv on both sides.... never had a leak

I have never had a leak using just a Felpro/OEM dry gasket. Skipping the gasket does slightly misalign the axles.

Paper and aviation gasket sealer for me. I don't do leaks..

That's a Superformance gasket I think. Supposed to be good stuff! I don't know if it will be reusable. (I bought a couple pairs of superformance valve cover gaskets for my bbm FOUR bolt covers, but I haven't tried em yet.)

Excellent gasket, great if changing rear ends frequently. But a couple of cautions... 1.Be sure the mounting surface is totally clean on the diff and housing. 2. When torqueing it down do it in (2) steps, the 1st @ 1/2 torque spec and 2nd final torque spec.
