Got a fresh project going on and looking for some ideas for headers on a budget.I want fenderwell but the only bb mopar type are those that guys use on the cuda and darts and not a fan of the looks.Patriot makes some nice looking chevy headers but nothing mopar.Thinking maybe mating some BB mopar flanges to some chevy fenderwells? Here's a couple weekends worth of work so far.

I like Gassers. Post some more pictures to include frame. Good luck with your header search.

Looks great, should be a fun build to watch...

I love the gasser style, Willys & Fords of that 39-41 era...

are you going to go with the front end high & a straight axle or low slung ??

I have an old friend Doug, that races a S/G 41 Willys P-U #777,
I haven't seen him in years now...

sorry no ideas on the fenderwell headers for Mopars, unless your going to build your own,
there's tons of header kits, Summit Racing or Jegs, like Flowmasters, Dynatech, Kooks, Hedman, Hooker, Schoenfeld, Patriots, Dougs, Moroso, etc. a bunch of places sell the tubing/bends & collectors too...

Or buy mandrel U-bends or J-Bends in the sizes you want & make all you tubes {it ain't cheap thou},
buy flanges to adapt other sets, like you said, you could modify a set for SBC {especially those that were for the Stahl bolt pattern that were bigger tubing usually} & use the BB Mopar wedge flanges & add a different style collectors...

Thanks for the pics Budnicks,I can always count on you posting some cool shots.Going after the look similar to that last pic posted.Got to do some comparing but it looks like a sb chevy exhaust port layout is close to a bb mopar so those patriot fat fender gasser headers may work with a flange swap.

Hey wannadrag, here is a pic of my 67 Dart Gasser, Straight axle. Sold it a couple of years ago and kick my butt every time I think about it!! It was bad *** fast and a real head turner. PIC_0018.jpg I love the Willys always have.

I got a thing for Gassers too. That looks like a fun project and keep us posted. And that is one badazz Dart gasser!

Doug's has a set of fenderwell headers for a RB. They are made for the 62-65 B body cars.

the Fenderwell headers for a Tri-5 chevy sbc, you could possibly make work too, with a little massaging,
maybe a sprint car or dragster/altered down-swept sbc header too,
just extend the tubes & use the BB wedge flanges,
you could even make them stepped headers,
if the tubes were too big for your combo,
smaller tube inside a bigger tube,
pick up some lower rpm torque...

a couple more I have a 40 ford pick-up & a couple 40 & 41 Willys pick-ups

Here's 37 Coupe I built a few years back and sold to a fellow in NY to run in a gasser series out there.

Didn't the '37 have a "knee action" front suspension? Best thing to do is put a straight axle under it!

Nice looking ride.

Nice start! Good luck with the build.

Here's my off and on project- '40 Willy's pickup, Chopped 2",Art Morrison chassis, blown 392. Will have a similar stance to the Agitator when done.

Here is my buddy's 55 that I've been helping out with. And he's not going to paint it! If it's lucky it will get a fresh coat of black primer right over the dents and rust! You did say gasser, right? The hood scoop will be changed but at this point not sure to what. Ideas anyone????? Post them up and I'll send them on to him.

Yep, BBC 454. He's sort of modeling the car after Two Lane Blacktop.
