And links I've followed haven't made decoding any easier.
I'm new here and don't know if this is the right place to ask but could someone please help decide a fender tag for a 1967 Plymouth Satellite 383 auto, all I've been able to decipher is RR1 is burgundy, so looks like it's had a colour change, I'll put up a pic of fender tag.
Thanks

RR1 is bright red in 67. QQ1 is burgundy in 67.
You have a 383 2bbl automatic, AM radio, fender mounted turnsignal indicators, and I believe 2.76 rearend non sure grip. It's bucket seats, buddy seat, so automatic on the column. Also black interior.

Welcome from Alabama, post a few pictures and go to the Welcome Wagon and introduce yourself and tell us the story on your Satellite.

Exactly, well its been repainted pale yellow now but the rest rings true....Bet it looked fantastic when it was bright red!!!
Thanks so very much Jerry

Code P is bright red in 67, and code R is yellow. Code R is burgundy in 68.
You are correct, I didn't look it up. My old brain is messing with me. Thanks.

I have a 67 Belvedere II. My Trim Tag has the d6 code also, and I get the same info it...Unknown Option.
When I got my muscle dream car I sprung for the 67 Plymouth Service Manual and Dave Wise's Dodge and Plymouth General Field Guide, 1962-74. The Wise book is a bit light on 67 data but still a good resource (MMC Detroit). The Service Manual has loads of number data, although it does have an error on the VIN Code breakdown, showing my 383 H code as a 426 (which should be a J).

A2 is a 2.94 ratio with an 8 3/4 rear end.
