Hi guys from Sydney Australia.
I have a beautiful 66 - 440 Coronet with a big block 440, having a few small minor issues with the engine (needs a new 750cfm rebuild) and a compression test to rule out any issues, she starts and goes well but once warmed up it's starting cough and idle lower and then almost stalls... hopefully nothing too serious...
Good to join this group!
I'm actually looking for a Mopar performance valve cover, (black version)
only one.(I found one spare one, brand new) now I need to find one more with out buying a set!
Any helpers for the 440 big block?

Cheers
John

Welcome from PA. Check to make sure your choke is fully open when warmed up.

Welcome!
Oh, we may have a few 440 guys hanging around....
Dude, it's the best b-body Mopar forum on the net - of COURSE there's a ton
of big block guys hanging out here. :)
Tons of help to be had here, starting with judicious use of the SEARCH box in the upper
right hand of the site - the archival functions of this site are truly MASSIVE.

In the meantime, we love pics and your ride is certainly lovely, so....

Thanks mate, we will work on that next week. It was disconnected. Not sure why! Had the car for 12mths and it's been going well since the last month or so. Idles well then heats up and then struggles to idle etc

Welcome mate! Check the butterfly exhaust valve on the passenger side exhaust manifold to make sure it opens when the engine is warmed up.

Yes will do, thanks for your reply mate.
I'm rebuilding the edelbrock 750cfm next week so hopefully it solves a few of my concerns
