I am finally getting around to repairing my gear box leak. It leaks where the valve body bolts to the box. I removed the valve body to find the O-rings. This picture is one of the O-rings but it has a sort of squareness to it. Does anyone know if it is truly an O-ring or is it a squared off one?
Sorry I can't seem to get a perfect focus on it.
Thanks
Ron

Hey Ron, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe "squared off" is correct. Autozone has a rebuild kit for pretty cheap.... heck, a lifetime warranty box for $115 (just bought one).

Thanks for the answer. I did get that kit as I work part time at Advance.

I put it all together but I have to finish the gas tank replacement before I start it back up.

It's always something.
