Ok, I am going to once again show my ignorance....I wanted to find out what gears I have in my 63 Sport fury. I jacked up the rear end and spun the driver's side wheel. I knew that if the other wheel spun the same direction=sure grip, opposite direction=open gears....well what does it mean if the other wheel doesn't spin at all? Next to determine gears I was going to count the drive shaft rotations to one turn of the wheel, then I remembered I hadn't put the driveshaft back in yet.

I've been reading about EFI (looking at Fitech) and their instructions had a large caution about the necessity of proper venting of the fuel tank. Looking at my gas tank/sending unit (from spectra) I can't see how this is vented. Am I missing something that needs to be installed?

Thanks for all your help.

If the other wheel doesn't turn, it's probably just your brakes dragging a little. It's an open rear.
Count the revolutions of the yoke if the drive shaft's not installed.
Mostly the gas caps did the venting on the older cars.

im using an msd atomic on my 66 coronet. im using a vented gas cap like mentioned above.
