Going tomorrow to pick up my new ride. 2011 Durango Citadel. It is a left over model so the are taking a crap load off the sticker. It is a little more than I want to pay but I just can't help myself. My next Hemi will have to be for the 65 for sure.

Sounds like great news, You never know what lays around the corner, you might just find one for the 65 to, Talk to some of the guys at the place your buying, I mentioned something like this once to a guy i was buying a truck from, told him i was looking for a 4-speed for a Chevy and guess what he told me? yep, a friend of a friend landed me, im not kidding, three Saginaw transmission's for $75.00.. (not a Hemi, but) I know it doesn't happen all the time, but you never know whats around when you talk to the right person.. I kept one for my car, sold one for $75.00 and gave the last one to a friend who needed one like i did at the first! Enjoy your new ride!!

love the 5.7 in my 08 pickup!chipped it,exhaust, and air intake.now it is almost hard to drive it.smoke that one legger for about 6 blocks if i want!all my money is going to my 67 coronet,so none to do a posi swap.i guess i will just have to live with it :headbang:.

Congrats on your 1st Hemi, Thanks for helping to stimulate our economy...LOL... Sounds like a great Durango, "it must be, it's got a Hemi in it", good luck...

Thanks,
I am doing my part to spread the Mopar word. I have converted my wifes family. When we first started going out they were Ford/Chevy people. Mother in-law now drives a 10' Hemi Charger and Father in-law drives a 11' Hemi Ram. Figured it was time to get my own.

I put on 1000 miles in the first week. Took a 4 hour trip to Wisconsin Dells this weekend. Loved every mile. The Durango drives/rides so smooth! I am a fan to say the least.

Sound like true Love...LOL... What is the towing capacity ?? Just curious...

Wow 7000lbs

It says 7100lbs. It has load leveling also.
WOW that's way better than I thought it was, 7000lbs is respectful, I wish they put the Hemi's in the 1995-2003 Dakota's, I have done a bunch of stuff to my 99 Dakota 4x4 V8 5.2ltr Magnum to make it perform "like it should have" from the factory, I outrun a bunch of 5.9ltr. Magnums but not the Hemi's in the Jeep's or Durango's... Good luck with your HEMI Durango it sounds like a great vehicle...

Wow 7000lbs

I know, I was impressed by that also. I can't wait to pull the ATOMIC WEDGiE to my local track on an open trailer instead of using my old 84' Chevy 1 ton and 28' enclosed. Going to save me a ton a cash in gas.

Before you say anything about the Chevy. It came as a package deal w/ the enclosed and I needed something to pull it with.

That's funny, Hey I'm an old Mopar & Chevy guy so, I won't throw any stone your way...
