Getting Pumped-Picking-up my 65 Coronet 500 Tomorrow!

I believe the wheel opening trim was standard on the 500's. I've heard it's not hard to repair/restore the steering wheel. There is a guy on Fbbo that does that. I can check my email tomorrow and get you the info. Hang onto those hubcaps too.

If and when you get a chance and maybe snap a close up of that tirm. This looks so much like the molding on a friends 74 Jensen Interceptor and also on my 73 Jensen Interceptor but my 74 Interceptor does not have this molding. Just more of a curosity item than anything else I guess. Still like that color...

as a side note to the guy above mentioning rocker panel and wheel opeing holes. My 65 Coronet is a 500 model and it is loaded with trim including the wheel opening and rocker panel covers..the rockers cover are fluted and quite wide...say almost 4 inches..

PS...seems you got the only real car on that lot....!!!!!!!!

WTG man on landing your dream car! I was in your exact same position about a month ago. Took forever to get a good nights sleep before & after it came in. Have a blast!

Send you about the steering wheel.

Awesome. I know the anticipation. I bought my 65 500 last year off this site and had to wait for it to get from Colorado to Mass to get it on the trailer to home. Love the color on that one and the cragars are perfect with it. Mine has the wheel well chrome and the rocker moldings as well. I even found the intact buildsheet in mine!

Great looking '65 you have there!
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
