Glove Box 65' Sattelite

Hi,

I have a glovebox door that I am looking for ideas on what to do.....

It looks ok, but it has some pitting on the outside edge frame..... not all over it.... but enough to ask you all what I could do to make smooth again... to pretty it up

I could sand it lightly andthen prime it up and respray with a chrome fake spray ?

What is this metal ? aluminum ? I could just respray to interior colour ?

What ya all think ?

You should be able to polish the edge and then paint the inner panel.ccasion14:
