Truck axle is different than a car, no pinion snubber on truck axle.Hmmmm, I have a Dana 60 in my old '65 Ford 3/4 ton truck that I bought when I was 15 years old (I'm 54 now). It's been parked out back behind the barn for probably 23 years now. It was fine when I parked it. I knew I kept that old truck around for a reason! I wonder what that rear end is worth in that? It's geared super low, like 4:56 maybe. You could actually take off in 4th gear literally. It's probably the only good thing left on the truck!
Which isn’t a problem if you’re gonna use CalTracs or an aftermarket suspension or aren’t looking to race it.Truck axle is different than a car, no pinion snubber on truck axle.
I bought a narrowed , disc brake , Detroit locker , dana 60 from a guy in ohio that builds and sells them. I paid around $2100 and some change. Unfortunately , I cant remember his name , he was on ebay too.Where can I get a dana for 2700 complete to my door? I’ve been
looking for a dana 60 for over a year... haven’t found a useable one for under 2k.
