Been down "rotator road" myself. Get it done and go to physical therapy... all of it. Do your exercises and dont over workit right away. I skipped therapy on some finger surgery years ago... not good! Best of luck!

i WANT TO SEND A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT REPLIED TO THIS THREAD. EVEN THE SMART-ALEX ONES GAVE ME AND THE WIFE A GOOD LAUGH. I WILL BE DOING AS MUCH DRIVING IN THE TRUCK AS I CAN BEFORE I HAVE TO GO FOR SURGERY.JUST GETTING THE PAPERWORK STUFF SENT IN TO WORK COMPS FOR APPROVAL THEN SET A DATE FOR SURGERY. AFTER THAT I'LL BE HOME 24-7 BUGGING THE WIFE AND WHEN SHE IS AT WORK I'LL BE BUGGING YOU GUYS.

On Aug. 2nd I fell at work and dislocated my right shoulder,fractured my arm,and tore 3 out of 4 rotator cuffs. I'll be going under the knife on Sept.5th. I'm right handed so can't do sh#t! Just wanted to let ya know that your not alone!!! Good luck with your surgury.

Good luck to you guys. In the end, you'll be glad you had it done. As the others said, be sure to do your rehab and exercises. It really pays off in the end. I had a hip replaced almost 3 years ago, and life is really good since having it done.

Yeah, i was trying to drive truck to make a paycheck and trying to make PT appointments.Tuff trying to do both so i think this will be better to make all the therapy dates.

Good luck. Im at the age things are starting to go for me as well. At least if it is your left arm and you are right handed it wont hurt your sex life. Have a speedy recovery.

I go "under the knife" at 6:00am tomorrow morning. They're going to put titanium pins in to hold everything together where all the damange is. I guess I won't be doing any wrenching in my shop for awhile.:icon_sad:
