There was a question about VIN # tags earlier .So when I looked closer at mine I noticed that the stamping was different between the first 2 digits as compared to the last sequence. Does this look right?

The Vin number does look strange. Is it held in place by glue? Your VIN TAG Rivets have been removed..There is a lot of re-body being done so I would verify your vin..

No, that's the way they're supposed to look! No rivets.

You should see number on my core support! Looks like they hit it 2-3 times and each time offset a little from the previous! Ugh!

I failed to mention that the VIN tag was spot welded in place which i was vaguely aware of was correct method .The trouble was "the double stamping".Thanks to all for their feedback.
