When I hear about a black engine bay in a Mopar that’s not black. I think small block Chev, Mustang clip and a Ford 9 inch.

I'm going to try and get the doors and fenders on this weekend and get a better picture up.
Definitely going to need some wet sanding...

Yes, in the driveway.
I was able to lay everything horizontally and that stuff came out ok.
I just couldn't get the quarter panels to clear without orange peel.
I'm going to sand and buff everything anyway so I think they will turn out ok.
I have 5 coats of clear on everything.

I had the main part of the car in color and then ran into multiple problems. It dried for about 2 weeks.
I sorted out the problems, then sprayed the fenders, doors, hood and trunk. I scuffed the body and sprayed that again as well. Then cleared everything together.

Was the clear coat hard to apply after the long wait time between basecoat and clear?

I sprayed another coat of base after I scuffed it and then cleared it wet.
