Got the new project home.

Well it took six months, but the Charger I went to see in August is finally in the barn. The seller in Ft. Wayne and I had a handshake deal back then, but he told me there were some title issues to clean up. That took five months, so we were into January... too cold and snowy to go fetch her. The weather finally gave me a window last week, so she's home!

1973 Charger SE, 400BB, 727, Bronze Metallic. It ain't the 4-spd I was looking for, but at least she's a big block. Now the fun starts! I may be doing a 4-spd conversion anyway.

Well, the 68 Coronet is my "pretty" car. This one, I'm going to get the suspension, brakes and driveline solid, put a nasty stroker in, and drive her ugly. I won't be afraid to park her anywhere, get her muddy, or be complaining about bird crap on her.

Yeah, it sucks going to a restaurant and making sure you get a window seat so you can watch the car... or parking way out in outer Mongolia when you go to Lowe's.

Great find, same concept somewhat that I am doing with my 71, make it mechanically sound and comfortable and don't worry about the exterior.
