got the purple plug wires

i got the plug wires i been lookin for but i gotta cut to legnth myself. i ordered them from Summit at 5:00 and they got there the next day before noon...HOW DO THEY DO THAT???? ill get pix when im done !:headbang:

Hopefully they are low ohm resistance {under 100-ohm pr/ft} & not the typical loosey 1500-ohm pr/ft or higher type, plug wires... Good luck with the purple people eater

Hurry up what's taking so long were is the pic already???? lol Let us know how the cutting and plugs go I do electrical but for some reason I never can trust the crimp on made plug wire.

Yep i have done those custom wires a bunch and that crimp never seems as good as a factory one.

Grainger Supply {or use to anyway}, sells a great wire crimper for the large 7mm-10mm wrap arround type plug wire end crimps, I dont have a clue on the part #, Fluke "I think" is the name brand... Or was it Cresent, damn the sometimmers is acting up again..LOL

the plug wires went fine. altho....yeah...i did it....I GOT 2 CROSSED...(never fails)...#2 and #6...all is well now. runs great and the crimping went fine too. they're mostly hidden under the manifolds, but they're there....cant miss big purple wires now canya???? nuthin loose. ill get pix tomorrow...altho i need looms...they should be here in a few days!

I ordered a new set of tap/die last month and they came the next day, thats exactly what i asked them when i called, using a credit card i thought maybe they charged me more then what i thought (over night) and didn't want that card messed up, the young lady said thats Summit, sir it didn't cost any more then you paid... They are good to deal with there!! Glad you got the ones you wanted.. enjoy, matches the car now.
