Great day of racing today at Island

I got my hemi really working to its potential again today.60 foots were the best. Hanging the frobnrt wheels again with a little tuning.Cant wait till next weekend.

heres a few pictures with the new front tires. went to a taller tire to lower the front of the car for more frontend travel.

Looks good , looks like quite a bit taller tire, what differences did it make in amount of suspension travel, after lowering the suspension {making it much softer I'm sure}, & 60ft times especially? Are you experiencing any bottoming out, shocks, pan etc., when it comes down now you have took tension out of the torsion bars? Did you change the rebound or compression setting on the shocks?

with the double adjustables, i put in a bunch of compression and just got 2 clicks on extention. so no bottoming out. its leaving like this again on every pass. this car needs travel to work.

put on the 7.60 drag special back on. was cutting .020,.029 .032 lights yesterday.

So can I ask,,,,,, What is the mystery with 1/4 mile ET's? Am I missing something?
I seen in car videos from before the freshen-up, is it even faster now?

Did I misread this heading it does say "Great day of racing at Island"!!!!! What was great about it? I'm assuming the car isn't running like it did before and it slower now...
