Great gift for the holidays.

That does sound like a good book to read, The old photos would be kind of cool to see with the story's to go with them.

I second that recommendation. I read it and no-doubt - anyone interested in Chrysler drag racing, or drag racing in general would enjoy it. It was amazing to read about the innovation that they developed - much of it unsponsored and on their own time. Pics are fabulous too.

It's on my gift list. I love reading about the history of motorsport and the stuff that went on behind the scenes.

Thanks Hemi Rebel !!
I just ordered it from AMAZON.
(3 to 5 day shipping, cant wait)

Got mine for Christmas a couple of years ago. Hard to put down. Rusty - I got that one last Christmas and still need to finish it. Another great book - just have to get some more reading time in.

Thanks for the "tip" Hemi Rebel!

Love that picture. I will tell you guys one of my favorite things about this book is it starts with a history of how chrysler and the us auto industry came to be what it was. Truly fascinating book

It is NOT a quick read. It IS "in-depth", insightful AND well authored.
It is a chronology of the Evoloution of Drag Racing period!
These Engineers are personally responsible for the "LEAP" NHRA took during the 60's.
A LEAP forward that would never have come to fruition had it not been for INSIGHTof this Chrysler Engineering "gang" who called themselves the Ramchargers.
They exceeded all boundaries and literally "Pushed the Envelope" of Drag Racing.
Awesome book.
Thanks Hemi Rebel

PS: Hey ! It's a Hard Bound! not a soft cover...
PSS: Check out the pack of Pinnacle golf balls on the left front fender cover.
