I heard this morning. RIP Greg Allman. Listening to the 20+ songs he is a part of today on Spotify. Some of my favorite songs too...

IMNTHP there was at least one other band just as "good" as the Allman Brothers on the Macon label.
Unfortunately for them, The Allman Brothers sucked all the oxygen out of Capricorn records and they did not get the promotion or chance.
