Back in the late 80' s I was hauling vintage cars for my brother and his biz partner.

I dropped off a 60' s vintage Ferrari at Kihn's shop in Massachusetts.

His employees told me NOT to mention his rock and roll heritage....seems he had put that behind him.

He had a nice shop...nothing special but efficient. Seemed like a good guy.

So many of my contemporaries are leaving us too soon.

My Dad, who was away at war when his wife was playing around, always said he played " second fiddle"...

WFUV 90.7 in NY is doing a tribute to him right now.

I remember hearing an interview with him back around 86 or so. He had a car collection with some nice models but he rarely drove them. His favorite and daily was a 1966 Dart that he never changed the oil on and bought used tires. It never let him down and no worries about theft or vandalism.
