GTX console name plate

I have an automatic console from a 70 gtx I bought from a friend. Well right underneath the shifter plate has the letters GTX. Does anyone know if some came with the name of the vehicle on the console such as GTX. It looks as if it came like that without no one adding it. I'd like to find out if anyone knows. Thanks Art.

Never seen it before.....post a picture of what you have. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it.

Not a factory item, there were no badges or emblems on the 70 consoles.
