GTX radio bezel question

Is there a difference in the woodgrain radio bezels between the '68 and '69 GTX (and I assume, the Sport Satellite)?
What's a good price for one of these in repop?

Our 69 Sport Satellite bezel/surround is the same as the 69 GTX as far as I know, and also as far as I know, no one makes reproductions yet :thinker:

I think I read on here recently, on another thread, that the 68 doesnt have any text whereas the 69 does.

Not sure if the woodgrain itself differs tho?


We paid $300 a few years ago for ours off ebay. 1st decent one we'd found after looking on & off for 15 years :icon_mad:

Yeah, they're repopping them nowadays.
The one I've found has the lettering. Seller says there's no difference, '68 or '69, but I seem to vaguely remember there is?

Well, sort of.
The 1969 pic isn't of the GTX dash I don't think. No woodgrain.

Also, one of them, I think the '69, has a darker tone to the woodgrain than the other. It might be a mismatch if you don't get a complete set.

I just happen to have an NOS 68 GTX radio bezel here with me at the breakfast table...

No letters.
