I am wondering what torque converter (diameter and particularly the stall speed) that may have came from the factory in my car.

The car is:
1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite
318 originally
904A
273 peg leg originally
Single exhaust

(How did they get away with calking it a “sport” lol?)

I assume the VIN doesn’t have any info re the TC.

Thanks guys for your responses!

Put a tach in it and hold the brake and wood it. That's not the most accurate way but it'll get you close. Dave said 1600 and I'm thinking pretty close to that. Imo, there were no TC options for a teen....a truck teen might have had a higher stall but then it would be a 727.

The original torque converter in the A904-LA behind a 318 in a 1970 Sport Satellite is 10-3/4" in diameter and stalls at 2100-2320RPM per Chrysler specification.

Available rear axle ratio for this combination was 2.76:1 or 3.23:1.

Thanks @Vaanth 2:76 is what I had for rear gears.
