SUNDAY March 27: I started this week digging a trench from my house to the garage so I could upgrade my power lines to the garage. I didn't go to deep because I needed to contact the power company on Monday to make sure they didn't have something buried there.

MONDAY March 28: I called the power co. so while I was waiting for them to do there thing I decided to fix the fuel tanks on my tow vehicle(84 C30 Chevy dually). I got started on the pass. side tank but all the nuts/bolts where metric. I have some metric tools but not alot. I needed deep well sockets for the tank straps and of coarse I didn't have the one I needed. On a positive note; I got to buy some tools. I was working on the truck outside and it started raining so my day was done for that project.

Tuesday March 29: I did more digging on the trench but was working my butt off because of the tree roots. The old electrical conduit was in the way so I cut the power and pulled them out of the way. I now have now power to the garage. I figured I would have it done by the weekend and then I would be back in business. My back started hurting real bad. 2008 I was training for the World Powerlifting Championships and tore up my back. Well all that bending and digging took it over the edge. I have been off work 13 days now. I am just waiting for the Doctor to set up my surgery date. I figure I will be off until mid June.

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday March 30-April 1st: Total pain!!!!!

SATURDAY April 2: I felt better, well enough to at least walk for 1 minute before I had to sit down so I could recover. I store my 28' enclosed trailer in my father in-laws farmshed for the winter. I needed to get it moved because he is getting ready to plant and it was kind of in his way where I had it parked. The 65 Coronet is in my garage so the trailer is empty so I took my 97 Ram 1500. On my way to the new parking spot is a very sharp S turn. I made the first turn fine but as I came to the 2nd the brake pedal went to the floor. Good thing I was going slow! I made it to the spot but found out that my pass side front line burst.

So lets recap. I need back surgery and until then I am off work. I have no power in the garage. My tow vehicle is down. My Ram is down. My 65 Coronet isn't finished yet. I won't get to race until July at the earliest.
