Love the old Direct Cknnection stuff. My engine's wearing the old DC valve covers and I'd love to add the old Mopar /DC gauges but usually guys want an arm and a leg.

You guys just gave me something to hunt for at Carlisle.

Haha, I was at Carlisle in the Spring n didn't see any, but will be there in July 4sure lookin for one too!

I love seeing them on mopars, even the repop frames.

How would one know if it's a repopped frame?

Here are a few I have on my shop wall. The top two are exceptionally rare. One is the Cologne (Germany) US Nationals from 1989, and the "Lola" plate is the US car club I was in for my three years in West Germany - my wife and I were the only Americans! There were about two dozen Germans, and all of us had American cars. Everything from my '85 D150 and '67 Belvedere I "Krankenwagen" (hearse), to guys that had Corvettes, Pontiacs, and a '55 Chrysler New Yorker two-door hardtop.

The two DC plates I've had for many years. The weathered one since 1979, and the other since 1985. See the MMCI plate? Any of you former members of the nationwide club that existed pre-Interwebz? The "Show Car" plate I acquired off a 1985 Shelby Charger on a display in England. The '93 Bandimere show was a LOT of fun! And lastly, I got the CPPA tag for a brief spiel about my Coronet in CP magazine in early 1986. I've got other cool ones on another wall.

Any extras for sale?

None I care to get rid of, really. I have no duplicates of any tag. However, I might be willing to part with these: One of a pair of plates from Bahrain - one Euro-style and the other US-style. One 1972 Ontario plate and one from around 2013. Several newer Oklahoma plates from 2016-2010; 2009-2002, 2001-1995, and 1990-1983. OK changes out about every seven years or so. Couple of older TX plates, too.

Finally got mine on my Satellite. 35+ years of service and counting....
