Happy Australia Day

Happy Aussie day...I went to Sydney on the Queens Silver Jubilee year....so by my thinking that must be about 1977! I was only ten but we had a great three weeks...I have relative's there. The other reason I never forget Australia Day is because I was born on it!..... yep my birthday is today!

did you go on the royal train? that was touring at the same time
The only Aussie train I have been on took me out halfway up the 'burbs of Melbourne to visit my friend @monroegtx

In my carriage were loads of people who had just enjoyed the ANZAC Day AFL game between the 'Blues and Reds' :D ....some of the Reds' fans in the seats near me were a little worse for wear....one of them chundered up what looked like about 5 gallons of soup all over the carriage floor. Another passenger said out very loud "Oh for ****'s sake" The very next stop, everyone got off the carriage and crammed into the next one just in time before the train started again. We all watched as this comatosed individual and his mates laughed until he fell on the floor into the pool of regurgitation.

BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Glenn.
