Hard cold start

Tanks Inc is now offering replacement tanks with in-tank electric pumps with return lines. This is truly the best way to get around this issue if you don't mind spending the $$$ to switch over your entire fuel system. Turn the key, count to 5 and pump the gas and start it...

My favorite Mopar stripe.

I had a Thermoquad that drained past seals or those glued on caps. It would be empty after setting, flooded with a warm restart.

We've done this a hundred times here... hose loose sucking air in or fuel pump check valve letting the line bleed back to tank.

Sorry, I haven't been here for the other 100 times, this is my first experience with a Mopar. My Chevys never had this problem.

After setting, hold the choke plate open and pump the throttle. Is it squirting gas?

Yes

When the car sits for days, do you FIRST check the carb to see if it squirts fuel when you actuate the throttle by hand ? ( Before you do anything else ? ) It's not fuel "boiling" it's the fuel EVAPORATING. You changed the carb for no reason.

Actually the throttle shaft was leaking so....
