I have a 69 coronet that someone before me put a 360 motor with a msd electronic ignition. I was told it has an electric choke. Secondly the guy I bought it from said the motors timing could be adjusted just slightly. Anyways it has a real roughy time starting after its warmed up a few minuets. I have no problems when it's cold usually one crank and it fires up. Just wondering where I should start. My suspicions are pointing to that electric choke. Hopefully this is common and I can do a little wrenching myself to fix this annoying issue.

I'd start at the very basics of tuning. Put all components to stock settings for starters.

Um, yeah, that'd be a good place to start, does the choke fully open when warm? Is the linkage causing any problems of binding, bent, broken, whatever causing problems?

Can't help you without looking at it. If your not aware, the gas is real bad here and causes all kinds of hot start problems. I got 2 old cars and they both have hot start problems. Good Luck
